ReZap 'Battery Engineer' Intelligent Charger
no longer available
The ReZap 'Battery Engineer' Intelligent Charger (previously called the Battery Doctor) is the King of battery Chargers, charging not only Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, but also Rechargeable Alkaline (RAM) and Titanium Batteries - plus it will recondition or 'refresh' (a process similar to recharging) most standard disposable Alkaline Batteries . What's more, it does it all AUTOMATICALLY; there is no selection necessary for different battery types, as the charger detects them and selects the correct charging voltage and current itself. All you have to do is plug it in and put the Batteries in.
By allowing you to refresh standard Alkaline Batteries, you can save money on replacement Batteries, including any you already have* - and help reduce your impact on the environment! The ReZap is one of only a few rechargers that can do this and is arguably the most advanced of them all, as it also recharges NiMh, NiCd, Titanium & Alkaline Rechargeable Manganese (RAM) Batteries. Not only that, but it caters for more sizes than other chargers, including AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D, N, PP3 & 6V Lantern Batteries. Due to the unique individually microprocessor controlled bays, these can all be charged at the same time, even if they are of a different sizes or chemical composition! The ReZap is the only charger that will do this and means that it is the only charger you will ever need.
Why not save even more, by investing in Rechargeable Alkaline (RAM) Batteries, which can be recharged up to 500 times (approx. 100 times if fully discharged) and can be used wherever you would use normal disposable alkaline Batteries, as they are full 1.5 volts - unlike Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd rechargeable Batteries, which are only 1.2 Volt and do not work in many applications. They are also the 'greenest' Batteries available!
*How many times a battery can be recharged and how long it lasts after recharging will depend on the quality, exact chemical composition, previous use and age of that battery. This is especially true of standard disposable Alkaline Batteries, which are only 'refreshed' and not truly recharged, allowing you to use full charge of the battery that would otherwise be wasted. Good quality alkaline disposable Batteries can generally be refreshed back up to 85%-90% of their original capacity, up to 15 times. Not all makes and types are suitable and may not refresh at all, only a little or not many times, or may leak. Duracells are reported to leak during the refres process and are not recommended for this reason. For further information, please check with the battery manufacturer.
