| Alkaline Rechargeable (RAM) Batteries are Truly Advanced Batteries which can be used instead of standard disposable Alkaline batteries in most standard applications, but have the advantage of being Rechargeable between 50 and 500 times*, depending on use and number of times recharged (around 100 times if fully discharged each time). The more often you recharge them, the longer they last!. And because they are full 1.5 Volt cells, they do not suffer the limitations of use of Ni-Cad or Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries - which are only 1.2Volt.
Don't confuse these with standard Alkaline batteries which are sometimes advertised as being 'specially selected' for recharging in a 'special charger', which certain standard alkaline batteries can anyway - though not very often and not for a full charge - these are specifically designed to be recharged up to 500 times (only in their RAM charger). |
