- Help, I can't see any prices on your web site, what is the problem?
- In common with many other web sites, we use JavaScript to improve the layout and functionality of our site and this includes displaying prices. To fix this, go into your browser settings (tools; Options; Security -, or your browser's equivalent) and enable 'JavaScript' and/or 'Scripting'. If you have any problems doing this, please check with your browser suppliers web site for information (i.e., Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox. etc.). In some circumstances, you may also need to restart your browser, or enable Active X, or 'Active Content'. Many web sites require these to be enabled nowadays
- How do I purchase items on your web site?
- To purchase an item, simply edit the quantity you require, or leave at '1' (you can edit quantities or remove any products later if you wish) and click on the 'Buy Now' or 'Add To Basket' button for that item. When you have finished selecting products, click on the Basket (top right) or 'View Basket' in the top menu to go to your Shopping Basket. Here, you can remove, or edit the quantity required of any item, return to our main site to add further items, or, if you have finished, simply select your shipping choice and payment option to complete your purchase. Choose Goggle or PayPal to checkout with these acounts, or Standard Checkout to pay by any other method via the checkout Page ('Credit/Debit Card' for Credit/Debit Card payments, 'Cheque/PO etc.' for all postal payents, or Bank Transfer for Direct Bank Transfer via Internet or branch).
- My Item has not arrived, how do I find out if it is on it's way, or if it has been delayed or gone missing?
- First, please use the Check Order Status' page to check that your order has been dispatched. Most orders are sent out with 24 hours and often the same day if ordered before 2:00pm (working days) once payment has cleared. Occasionally, items may have to be re-stocked to fill orders, when your order may take a day or two extra before dispatch. Systems and Laptops may not be in stocked in order to offer the best specifications and prices and may take up to seven days before dispatch. Before contacting us, please check the postage option you have used to see the estimated delivery time. Royal Mail first class does not unfortunately guarantee delivery the next day. In fact, first and second class items are only guaranteed to arrive within 16 days - please contact us if you have not received your item within five - seven working days and we will be happy to investigate any delays for you
- I sent you a Cheque a week ago, but haven't received my item yet, what should I do?
- Cheques usually take around 7 working days to be paid in and to clear after we receive them. Postal orders also have to be paid in before we can send items out; this is usually done within four working days. During busy periods these times may be slightly extended, but if you have not received your item or confirmation that your cheque has cleared after 14 days, please contact us via the sales email address or by phone. - I paid by PayPal, but I have received an email saying you are waiting for my e-cheque to clear. Why and what is this?
- PayPal payments that are funded from a Credit or Debit card are normally cleared instantly, but if you PayPal account is set up to be funded direct from your bank account, then this means we receive payment by what is called an 'e-cheque'. E-cheques often take up to ten working days to clear, so we would advise you to change your PayPal funding method to Credit or Debit card. These methods are as safe, if not safer than direct funding from your bank account. As with other payment methods that take time to process, we cannot send items out until payment has cleared in our account. - I can't see the whole of the pages on your site and have to scroll left and right, or some of the text is difficult to see, what is wrong and how do I fix this?
- This site is best viewed using Mozilla Firefox V3 or higher using 1024 x 768 resolution, but should also work OK in Opera & Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8. If the page does not fit on your screen, you can either just continue to scroll across, or change your screen resolution. To change your screen resolution, right click on a blank area of your screen desktop and select 'Properties', then select the 'Settings' tab to adjust your resolution. - I tried to order something, but an error was reported, or the item was out of stock, why is this and what should I do?
- We apologise for any errors on our web site. We are constantly updating and adding to our site and errors do sometimes creep in. For the same reason, some items may occasionally be shown as out of stock when they might not be in fact. Please let us know via the Technical Support email address above or by phone, of any errors or out of stock messages and we will investigate and fix these problems as soon as possible.
